To understand the difference between the Old and New Testaments, imagine looking at a man and his shadow. The shadow reveals the outline and certain features of the man but not too much more. This is similar to the Old Testament explanation of God's plan for the world. The New Testament, however, brings God's plan into focus. It's like looking at the man face to face. That man, of course, is Jesus Christ.
